Job Description

Join Acciona's dynamic IT support team as an ICT Operations Technician, where you will play a crucial role in providing technical assistance and support to employees and partners. This role involves working closely with the Global Service Desk team to ensure the seamless operation of IT services across the organization. Your responsibilities will include managing ICT incidents, handling service requests, and ensuring smooth IT operations.

This role is a regional role initially based in Sydney for most of this year then mobilising to Regional NSW for the duration of the CWO project we currently have in NSW.

Key Responsibilities:

• Incident & Service Management:

  • Provide second-level support using ServiceNow.
  • Log, handle, and escalate ICT incidents and service requests as necessary.

• Hardware & Software Support:

  • Install and configure computer hardware, Microsoft software, and peripherals.
  • Re-image computers with the Standard Operating Environment (SoE) from the Madrid team.

• Staff Onboarding & Offboarding:

  • Manage the onboarding, offboarding, and transfer processes for staff to ensure a seamless experience.

• Ticket Management:

  • Monitor and prioritize personal ticket queues.
  • Achieve 80% ticket resolution within defined SLAs.

• Documentation & Compliance:

  • Document and maintain up-to-date ICT processes.
  • Adhere to ICT policies, procedures, and knowledge base articles.

• System & Process Improvement:

  • Investigate system issues and assist in implementing improvements and preventative measures.

Required Skills and Competencies

Qualifications & Skills:

• Degree/Diploma in Computer Science or related field.
• ITIL qualification preferred
• White Card and Rail Industry worker certificate preferred.
• Current Driver's License and reliable vehicle desirable.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
• Attention to detail and customer-focused.
• Minimum 2 years in Level 2 ICT support.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow. :
• Proficient in MS Office applications and Office 365.
• Understanding of computer hardware and installation.
• Knowledge of network protocols and security concepts.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Server systems and mobile device management.
