Job Description - ICT Procurement Administrator / Analyst - Urgent Role

EIRE currently provides local ICT support services across multiple sites for one of our clients, a Hyperscale Data Centre company that is fast becoming a market leader driving the region’s digital future. As the company aggressively expands it presence, our business relationship continues to evolve, as we work with them on bringing their internal ICT Operations to the next level. 

We are urgently seeking the services of an Administrator / Analyst, to complete a critical mission for our client – a review and process documentation project for ICT  procurement processes and standard operating procedures for ICT Services presently being delivered across the APAC region.

 

Workplace: 

Hybrid - Work from Home and On-site. You must be residing in Australia, able to access the client’s offices in Sydney as and when required.

 

Contract Type and Duration: 

  • Contractor / Fixed-term Contract Employee
  • 6 months (with possibility for extension dependent on business need)
  • Reduced work hours or flexibility for working parents or persons unable to commit to a fulltime workload may be available for the right candidate - let's discuss during interview.

 

Role and Responsibilities: 

  • Collaborate with ICT Service Delivery teams to learn, understand and document the existing operating procedures and processes around procuring and maintaining systems and services for each country/regional location.
  • Perform ICT procurement related operational tasks, such as processing purchase requisitions, raising purchase orders and maintaining procurement records.
  • Document current ICT service delivery flows and related procurement processes, detailing step by step work instructions.
  • Contribute to continuous service and process improvement efforts using your knowledge and experience from similar operations.

 

Experience & Skills/Competencies:

  • 2-5 years of experience in procurement of ICT equipment and services and understanding of Supplier Management
  • Familiarity with various ICT product and service types, including different types of business contracts for provision of computer hardware, enterprise software solutions (e.g. SaaS products/services and licensing), telecoms/facilities service providers, ICT managed services and professional services, staffing/outsourcing providers, etc.
  • Analytical mindset. Ability to quickly understand, articulate and document processes. 
  • Excellent internal corporate communication skills to illicit detailed information. 
  • Skills for documenting standard operating procedures. 
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills. 
  • General working knowledge of software database tools for IT Service Management.
