ICT Project Manager | 6 mth contract

• Multiple 6+ month contracts available for experienced ICT Project Managers paying approx $1000/day
• Gold Coast Location with 50/50 WFH flexibility

The Digital Transformation Program within this well-known organisation located on the Gold Coast, are currently seeking multiple Project Managers for initial 6+ mth contracts with likely extension/s to lead and manage complex software solutions

Drawing on your skills as an ICT Project Manager you'll have the opportunity to lead a variety of large, medium or small sized ICT projects to integrated enterprise and SaaS business applications.

The successful candidate will have strong stakeholder engagement skills, a self-starter and highly organised.

Roles and responsibilities

• Lead and manage the effective integration of deliverables within defined scope, budget, time and quality parameters.
• Produce the required project management products, engaging relevant stakeholders to ensure technical feasibility which meets business outcomes.
• Adequately plan, request and efficiently manage resource engagements which optimise project delivery.
• Establish fit for purpose project governance adhering to Project Governance framework.
• Work with the Chief Procurement Office to facilitate procurement planning, market engagement and provision of ICT goods and services following Source to Contract framework.
• Partner and build relationships with service providers to enable successful delivery of vendor goods and services.
• Ensure vendor development is aligned to ICT governance processes, long term goals and strategic roadmap.
• Implement effective risk and issue management strategies to mitigate and/or minimise impacts to project delivery and benefit realisation.
• Provide timely and detailed reports to stakeholders and management, escalating issues, as necessary.
• Create and maintain a detailed project schedule and cost plan to ensure transparency and accountability.
• Develop, nurture and maintain relationships with stakeholders across Chief Technology Office and Departments, ensuring business readiness and organisational change plans are suited to customers needs.

Preferred qualifications / requirements

• PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification preferred.
• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), or equivalent Agile qualifications preferred.

Required experience

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in IT management, with a focus on software implementation projects
• Proven experience in managing projects involving the replacement, upgrade or installation of software solutions
• Experience with Agile delivery methodologies
