Job Description - ICT Project Officer (Redevelopment)


About the Role


Reporting to the Redevelopment ICT Program Manager, ICT Project Officer (redevelopment) will provide project coordination, administration and reporting support across a diverse portfolio of ICT workstreams for the Ballarat Base hospital. Working closely with Digital Health teams, Operational Commissioning, vendors and external partners, you will help ensure Redevelopment ICT resources are supported to deliver ICT Work packages on time, within scope and aligned to organisational objectives.


 



Key responsibilities include:



  • Coordinating ICT project activities and deliverables across the redevelopment program.

  • Maintaining project schedules, registers, action logs, risk and issue registers, and governance documentation.

  • Supporting project meetings, workshops, stakeholder engagement activities and reporting requirements.

  • Assisting with procurement coordination, invoice processing, budget tracking and expenditure reporting.

  • Preparing presentations, status reports and project communications.

  • Supporting operational commissioning, service readiness and transition-to-business-as-usual activities.

  • Maintaining project collaboration tools, SharePoint sites and document repositories.

  • Helping monitor project progress, dependencies, decisions and key milestones


 



About You


You are a highly organised and proactive project professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and coordinating multiple priorities. You have excellent communication skills and can build productive relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.


To be successful, you will require below Skills & Experience:



  • Experience supporting ICT, digital health, technology or infrastructure projects.

  • Strong project administration, coordination and reporting capabilities.

  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and SharePoint.

  • Experience maintaining project documentation, registers and reporting artefacts.

  • A collaborative approach and commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes.
