Ignite are looking to hear from experienced ICT Strategy Lead Writer for one of our federal government clients.
Location: ACT, NSW, QLD, VIC or WA
Working arrangement: Hybrid working arrangement
Duration: 12 months
Citizenship requirements: Must be an Australian Citizen
The EL2 ICT Strategy Lead Writer will exercise a significant degree of independence and will use a highlevel of decision-making and judgement. The role will be required to coordinate and assume responsibility for highly complex or sensitive projects and work program outcomes across the functions that have strategic or operational significance to the client.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze the current IT landscape to identify areas for improvement and innovation.
- Monitor industry trends to align IT strategy with external factors.
- Consult with experts to gather diverse insights for a well-rounded IT strategy.
- Develop and present a medium to long-term IT strategy leveraging technology for strategic priorities.
- Facilitate strategic planning to align IT initiatives with business objectives and user needs.
Required Skills/Experiences:
- Comprehensive IT landscape analysis to identify improvements and innovations.
- Monitor technology trends to align IT strategy with external pressures and opportunities.
- Consult with experts for diverse insights to inform IT strategy.
- Develop and present a medium to long-term IT strategy.
- Facilitate strategic planning sessions to align IT with business objectives and user needs.
- Advocate for best practices in ICT governance and ensure compliance.
- Provide thought leadership on adopting and integrating emerging technologies.
Desirable:
- Possession of recognised qualifications in the ICT or related fields (e.g. degree in ICT fields relevant to ICT strategy).
- Experience working for or consulting to Federal Government.
