Job Description - ICT Support Analyst

Short-term contract - 5-week engagement
Full time 38 hours per week
Start - As soon as possible Your new role


As an IT Support Officer, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining and improving the IT infrastructure and proactively managing the City's software and hardware, licences, mobile, computer and technology assets.

  • Responsible for provide Level 1 to Level 3 technical assistance, troubleshooting, and problem-solving for end-user, as well as assisting with the maintenance, configuration, and deployment of hardware and software resources.
  • Primary end user support for all end-user computing hardware and application-related user issues.
  • Support and enhance organisational technology capacity by proactively maintaining an informed understanding of all active Helpdesk calls.
  • Create, maintain and delete user accounts - ensuring that security matrices and relevant protocols are maintained to ensure data integrity at all times.
  • Administration, support and assist to maintain the City's audio-visual equipment, fixed and mobile phone systems, multi-function devices and CCTV infrastructure, building security management systems and other technology as required asset register.
  • Ensure technology support meet business SLA's and KPI's.
  • Compile statistical data and reports relevant to Service Level Agreements and auditing requirements.
  • Administration, support and assist to maintain the City's audio-visual equipment, fixed and mobile phone systems, multi-function devices and CCTV infrastructure, building security management systems and other technology as required


What you'll need to succeed


Demonstrated technical competence / experience with:

  • Managing Microsoft operating system and desktop applications in an enterprise environment.
  • Supporting Apple technology in an enterprise environment.
  • Microsoft 365 (Office, Teams, Exchange).
  • Microsoft Active Directory.
  • IP Telephony.
  • Mobile Device Management (Microsoft SCCM and Intune).
  • Managing multi-function devices/printers.
  • Generation of ICT ServiceDesk and security related services report. What you'll get in return
