ICT Support Engineer - Urgent Position

We have the opportunity for you! We’re looking for ICT Support Engineers based in Sydney and Perth, to join our existing internal ICT team in the provision of first-line support to our growing JBS&G environmental consulting team.

As the first line of support to the business, the ICT Support Engineer supports current hardware and standard software, contributing to and introducing hardware and software standards across the business. Your focus will be on supporting internal customers in the use of systems, along with maintenance, configuration and the reliable operation of computer systems.

Our Sydney and Perth offices have an exciting opportunity for ICT Support Engineers, ideally with 2+ years’ experience to join our national ICT support team.

As ICT Support Engineer you will:

• Respond to and provide local & remote technical ICT support to employees across the country.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights to ensure data security and compliance.
• Install, configure and maintain standard hardware and software.
• Provide initial ICT training for new and existing employees.
• Support mobile and remote computing.
• Analyse Help Desk enquiries, to prioritise requests and provide support within agreed timeframes.
• Assist with ICT Projects and ICT related initiatives.

About you:

• 2 years + experience in a similar role
• Cert IV or above qualification in Information Technology, with Microsoft certification highly desirable
• Experience with Windows 10/11, Windows Server & Hyper-V environments
• Experience with Microsoft 365 and cloud technologies
• Understanding or working knowledge of AD, DNS & DHCP
• Ability to meet deadlines effectively
• Experience providing face-to-face, phone/video and remote support
• Ability to be adaptable and respond quickly to changing needs in a demanding environment
• Strong critical thinking and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
