• Salary commencing at $68.42 per hour plus 11.5% superannuation, inclusive of 25% casual loading 


• Assist in delivering Council’s comprehensive Immunisation Program

Join Council's dedicated Immunisation Team and play an important role in preventing the spread of vaccine-preventable diseases. Working across a range of community and school-based settings, you will provide immunisations, education and advice while delivering exceptional customer service and clinical care.

In this role, you will administer vaccinations in accordance with national guidelines and Council procedures, assess consent and contraindications, prepare vaccines and equipment, assist with stock management, and provide pre and post-vaccination advice to clients and families.

To be successful, you will be a Registered Division 1 Nurse and accredited Nurse Immuniser with experience delivering immunisation services in a public health or community setting. You will also possess a current Working with Children Check, Victorian Driver Licence, and a strong understanding of immunisation guidelines, contraindications and emergency procedures.

Skills & Experience

• Registered Division 1 Nurse and accredited Nurse Immuniser;


• Demonstrated experience in the provision of immunisation within a public health setting;


• Clear understanding of immunisation guidelines concerning contraindications and emergency procedures;


• Current Working with Children Check; and,


• Current and valid Victorian Driver’s Licence.
