Job Description - Immunoassay Scientist

Job Advertisement: Method Development Scientist - Immunoassay

Overview

Join a leading bioanalytical lab with expertise supporting drug development at their state-of-the-art facilities and contribute to developing ligand-binding assays in a regulated, client-focused environment.

Responsibilities

* Develop and transfer ligand binding assays with support from trained staff.

* Communicate project updates and address client queries.

* Collaborate with Study Directors and operational teams to meet project timelines.

* Ensure seamless transition of methods into validation with internal teams.

* Troubleshoot and resolve assay-related technical challenges.

* Draft and review Analytical Laboratory Methods (ALMs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

* Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements during assay development.

Qualifications

* Degree in a relevant scientific field.

* 2+ years of analytical lab experience, preferably in a Clinical Research Organization.

* 1+ year of experience in ligand binding assay development.

* Strong scientific problem-solving and data interpretation skills.

* Proven ability to explain complex concepts to clients.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail.

* Effective task prioritization and multi-responsibility management.

* Proactive, independent, and reliable work ethic.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

* Design and execute method development and transfer experiments.

* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to meet milestones.

* Troubleshoot assay development challenges.

* Prepare and review ALMs and SOPs.

* Participate in team meetings to discuss progress and resolve obstacles.

* Stay updated on and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines.
