Import / Export Operator - Bulk Liquids

The Position:

We are currently looking for an Import / Export Operator to work from the Melbourne CBD office. In this role you will be overseeing the operations team, for Imports and Exports within the Bulk Liquid Logistics division. You will work closely with internal teams, external vendors, and clients to streamline processes, monitor performance, and deliver exceptional service. With your strong leadership and problem-solving skills, you will contribute to the growth and success of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the overall freight forwarding operations.
• Coordinate with and manage internal teams.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the operations staff.
• Oversee the documentation and compliance processes.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide guidance and mentorship.
• Prepare reports, forecasts, and budgets to track operational performance.

The Package:

For the right candidate we're willing to offer:

• Salary of up to $80k pa

The Candidate:

If you have the following, please apply to this role:

• 5+ Years of Freight Forwarding Operations Management
• Experience with Bulk Liquid logistics operations
• Experience EDI Cargowise, ICS, 1-Stop, Compay or similar software
• Proven ability to lead teams in a high paced environment
• Strong IT capabilities, i.e. Microsoft suite and any CRM experience
