Import Operator

Zenith International Freight Pty Ltd is an international freight forwarding specialist with global experience in ocean freight, airfreight, customs clearance, warehousing and local logistics. Zenith International Freight Pty Ltd has a highly trained workforce with over 80 years of combined experience in the fields of freight forwarding, shipping, warehousing, logistics, transport, banking.

We are looking for an Import Operator to join our team.

Key responsibilities include:

• The position is responsible for processing importation shipments by compiling, completing and verifying all necessary documentation
• Registration of import shipments
• Monitoring invoice payments and releasing delivery orders
• Liaising with transport companies, clients and team members on a daily basis

To be successful in this position, the ideal candidate will demonstrate:

• Approx 1-3 years of experience in freight forwarding industry - (But we are also accepting entry level candidates with no experience)
• Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures for Import or Export freight movements.
• Attention to Detail
• Computer literacy with basic PC and administration skills
• Good analytical and planning skills
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• CyberFreight software experience is an advantage
• Ability to help out in the warehouse is a major advantage

The role is ready to commence ASAP.

This is a full time opportunity located in Sunshine North, VIC, 3020.
