Job Description - Inbound Sales and Account Management

Safety Xpress is a nationally based, premier safety equipment supplier of Australian Safety Products and Installation. We have offices in Victoria, Queensland, and New South Wales. We are firmly committed and thrive to make workplaces, construction sites, business premises and homes safe for all people. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and a results driven Inbound Sales and Account Management representative, to join our friendly, fast paced  and expanding team in Keysborough, Victoria.

The Role: 

Reporting to the VIC Branch Manager the key Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • As part of a team, answer all incoming calls in a prompt, friendly and efficient manner.
  • Receive and process customer orders via telephone and email.
  • Manage end to end Sales process from taking enquiries to quote conversion
  • Developing new sales opportunities using cold calls and lead follow-ups
  • Communicating with customers to understand their needs and requirements and identify sales opportunities
  • Explaining and demonstrating the functions and features of products and services
  • Maintaining and improving the database of prospects
  • Keeping up to date with product and service information and competitor offers
  • Upselling products and services
  • Serve walk-in customers with a friendly and professional approach.
  • Manage our existing clientele 
  • Liaising with internal an external stake holders
  • Varying administrative duties as required
  • Recommend process improvement plans and optimize sales.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned to support the work of the department.

To be successful in this role you will possess the following:

  • A passion for delivering exceptional customer experience and sales, predominantly via telephone and email.
  • Account Management experience
  • KPI's and Sales driven
  • High level administrative and organizational skill with a proven ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast paced environment.
  • A bright, positive, and willing nature with a 'can-do' attitude.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to navigate around web-based e-commerce platforms.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
