The Opportunity
We are actively seeking to recruit a graduate surveyor and or engineer for our Brisbane office. This role offers the opportunity to work with our talented team of engineers and non-destructive testing technicians on a broad range of industrial projects across the country and across the ditch, on offshore oil and gas platforms, refineries, remote transmission lines, power stations, and much, much more.

Key Responsibilities:

• Undertake laser scanning surveys and assessments
• Report writing and analysis
• Drafting and reports where necessary including the use of any appropriate software to facilitate, such as Leica Cyclone and or Polyworks Inspector
• Self manage project\scanning scopes on time and on budget
• Operate 3D laser scanning equipment to capture accurate and detailed spatial data for various industrial projects
• Process and analyse scan data to produce high-quality 3D models from point clouds in AutoCAD or similar software
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to work

About You

• Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
• Graduate surveyor to a diploma surveyor
• Graduate Civil or Mechanical Engineer
• Other relevant qualifications
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure data meets project requirements.
• Proficiency with terrestrial laser scanning (experience with Leica products preferred but not essential)
• Enterprise DJI drone flying experience (preferred but not essential)
• The ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders
• The ability and willingness to work collaboratively with a cohesive team, mentor other staff (where applicable), set objectives and achieve successful project outcomes
• Able to travel to remote locations for a few weeks at a time
• Don't mind a bit of overtime when on a project.
• Able to work independently
• Valid Australian Driver's License (manual vehicle)
