Interesting & varied work duties Early, Day & Afternoon shifts available Workshop & local site work available Harness Energy is an award-winning specialist provider of Personnel and Industry Training to a wide range of industry sectors, to some of Australia’s the biggest organisations.   We are currently recruiting for several Industrial Painter Blasters to join our client’s team, located in the Henderson.    This opportunity would see you working with our highly-regarded & sought-after client, performing a variety of Blasting & Painting tasks, either at their own premises or site location within the AMC, for defence related needs.       Key responsibilities and duties include: Surface preparation (a) Blasting techniques to required grades in a Booth, Box or open site (b) Clean surfaces using other methods (scrape, brush, burn) where required Masking off areas, not be coated/painted Disassembly/reassembly (where applicable) of smaller components for blasting/painting Mix paints, coating to specified colours, consistencies for respective applications (e.g. marine needs) Use of Conventional or Airless (possibly Plural) systems OR by roller/brush, to apply coatings to correct finish requirements and standards      What you’ll need to be considered  2 years’ experience as a Painter Blaster (Industrial or Automotive) or Certificate III Painting & Decorating Understanding of Blasting mediums (Garnet, Sand, Glass, etc) Ability to work autonomously or part of a team Adhere to all safety protocols and statutory requirements Forklift Licence / Confined Space / Dogging Rigging & EWP an advantage What’s on offer Long term engagement Highly prized work within the AMC and Defence applications Stable ongoing work Various shifts to choose from (Mornings/Days/Afternoons) Competitive Pay with O/time available Due to the nature of some of the works, Australian Citizens are preferred.   If this sounds like you and you’re keen to move things forward, click the “ Apply ” button TODAY!.
