Job Description - Infrastructure Services Manager - Darwin
We have been retained exclusively to represent an ASX top 200 company who have made their mark to date specialising in the long-term operation, maintenance and management of critical public and private assets and infrastructure. Their expertise is applied across a broad range of industry segments including defence and social infrastructure, infrastructure services, telecommunications and transport.
Our assignment is to identify and secure an experienced Infrastructure ServicesManager to play a critical role primarily providing the overall operational management for estate upkeep on a critical training facility.
This is a genuine "leadership" role where you will be responsible for leading a team of five Supervisors across the base - you MUST be able to convey and communicate confidently both internally and with external stakeholders!
Located on the outskirts of Darwin City, this role will be located day in day out on a key Defence base critical to key training deliverables across the N.T.
Some key deliverables in this role will include;
Liaise with the relevant Base Manager in relation to the performance of the EU service(s) delivered.
Overview the maintenance plan to ensure that it complements and will not restrict or hinder operational activities occurring on site.
Provide expert advice to Defence as and when required.
Provide technical support and advice to Supervisors responsible for delivery areas.
Ensure that work planned and authorised by Defence is carried out efficiently and to a high standard.
Manage the day-to-day liaison with subcontractors and in-house trade staff and work closely with Planning and Scheduling teams through supervisors to complete scheduled and reactive works.

To be considered you must be able to demonstrate competency across the following skill sets and qualifications;
Trade background with relevant experience ideal but not essential
Valid drivers license
Computerised maintenance planning experience within a commercial/defence industry.
Proven ability to manage multiple tasking and time, and to deliver a value-for-money seamless service to the Client.
Proven decision-making abilities combined with a highly developed level of innovative thinking.
High level of interpersonal and communication skills.
Experience in the use of Windows based office management systems, experience in SAP is advantageous.
Able to work effectively with people from diverse national, cultural, linguistic and religious/spiritual backgrounds and to deal with sensitive issues in a manner that is respectful of people’s individual dignity, cultural values and religious beliefs.
Results focused with the ability to identify and prioritise problems and issues, generate solutions and work collaboratively to achieve a successful outcome.
Able to obtain Defence security clearance of the back of detailed background checks.
