In-House Litigation (AAT) Lawyer, 3-5 years PAE (TV/Film Production)

THE ORGANISATION

Our client is a leading agency which works with the Australian TV/film industry.

The agency supports the production of Australian drama and documentary screen content, and invests directly in Australian television, film and digital titles.

THE ROLE

An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a commercial litigation lawyer ideally with Administrative Appeals Tribunal experience to join the Sydney office. 

You will work closely with a senior litigation lawyer and ultimately report to the Head of Legal.

You will be exposed to a range of matters relating to the development, production, promotion and distribution of screen content, however the focus of the role will be to work with the senior litigation lawyer on matters appealed in the Administrative Appeals Tribunal.

Please note that this role is a 1 year contract, ending in January 2026.

ABOUT YOU

To be successful you will:

• Be a lawyer with 3-5 years PAE, specifically with AAT litigation experience. The ideal candidate will have litigation experience specifically in the entertainment industry dealing with film/TV production matters;
• Be a team player, with the ability to also work autonomously on matters;
• Have a genuine passion for the TV/film industry.
