About the Role
As a rotational Speech Pathologist working in a dynamic and supportive department within one of Australia's leading hospital groups, you will have the opportunity to work in a range of caseloads across inpatients and outpatient services.

You will delivery excellent Speech Pathology services to patients across our services by:

  • Assessing and managing patients in accordance with up-to-date knowledge of departmental clinical policies and guidelines, and currently accepted Speech Pathology Australia professional standards of practice

  • Prioritising and balancing clinical and nonclinical responsibilities to ensure appropriate time management

  • Participate and involvement in continuous improvement and quality projects.


Classifications for this position will range from VP3-VP7 Grade 1 ($70,590.00 - $85,872.80)

Your Contribution

  • Bachelor of Applied Science (Speech Pathology), Bachelor Speech Pathology, or Masters of Speech Pathology

  • Eligibility for membership of Speech Pathology Australia and knowledge of Speech Pathology Australia position papers / Code of Ethics

  • Current National criminal history check, or willing to obtain

About Speech Pathology
Provide comprehensive assessment and treatment for communication and swallowing disorders across our inpatient services including acute, subacute and @home in addition to outpatient services. Our team of specialised clinicians offer evidence-based intervention for a diverse range of conditions. The department is committed to delivering excellent patient centred care while maintaining strong collaborative relationships with the multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes for all patients
