Do work that matters

As part of RBS Finance, you will design, build and maintain enterprise-level reporting and analytics solutions used by large frontline communities across the Retail Bank Branch Network. Your work will directly support senior leaders and frontline teams by improving transparency, reducing manual effort through automation, and ensuring reporting is accurate, secure and reliable.

You will work with curated data assets to deliver repeatable, intuitive dashboards that support decision-making at scale, while embedding strong data quality, governance and risk controls.

As a Insights and Analytics Manager , you will work within a collaborative analytics and finance environment, partnering closely with business stakeholders and enterprise data teams. You will contribute to the design and delivery of reporting products, translating business requirements into clear analytics solutions and continuously improving how insights are delivered.

This role is suited to someone who enjoys ownership, values quality, and is comfortable balancing stakeholder engagement with hands-on delivery.

We are seeking people who are:

• Passionate about delivering high-quality, decision-ready dashboards and reporting
• Customer-focused, with a strong eye for usability, clarity and user experience
• Experienced in translating complex data into simple, actionable insights
• Confident partnering with stakeholders to understand needs, validate outcomes and influence decisions
• Detail-oriented, with a strong focus on data accuracy, controls and risk awareness
• Curious and improvement-driven, always seeking better ways to automate and scale reporting
• Comfortable working in Agile environments while managing multiple prioritie

Tech skills

• Strong experience with Power BI and/or Tableau, including dashboard and semantic model design
• Advanced capability in DAX and M (or equivalent transformation languages)
• Working knowledge of SQL, with experience engaging upstream data and engineering teams
• Experience implementing row- and role-level security, data privacy and access controls
• Ability to perform data analysis and root-cause investigations to support insights

Tertiary qualification

A qualification (or equivalent experience) in finance, business, analytics, technology, or a related discipline.
