The company / project 

Our client, a major EPCM in the mining industry, is seeking a Inspection Coordinator to work on a 12-month contract in Perth, WA.

As an Inspection Coordinator, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the effective implementation of supplier evaluation and inspection programs within projects. Collaborate closely with the Project Quality Team to meet requirements, focusing on both administrative and technical aspects of quality assurance.

The role 

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing the daily administration of company policies and processes within our functional group.
• Taking the initiative to interact with supervisors and seek technical guidance as needed.
• Assigning work based on goals, priorities, and critical areas affecting other units, and overseeing the work directly or through supervisors.
• Effectively communicating with staff and construction project teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Facilitating the implementation of the Supplier evaluation and inspection program within projects, ensuring effective verification and inspection programs are in place.
• Working closely with the Project Quality Team to meet project requirements and ensure compliance with critical assessments and contractual and regulatory obligations.
• Your primary focus will be on ensuring the administrative and technical quality of the work being done.
• Reporting manager: Contracts Manager 

What you'll need to succeed

• Leadership experience in a technical field.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• A university degree in a related field.
• Deep understanding of relevant systems and processes.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
