Insurance to drive this practice area of their firm.

The firm is well known for their extensive knowledge of its lawyers in the areas of claims defence, recovery of claims payments and indemnity advice.

About this role...
Looking to expand, the Commercial Insurance team is now offering a pivotal career opportunity for an experienced Insurance Lawyer. In this role you will be handling a broad range of general insurance claims including product liability, public liability, institutional abuse claims and property damage on behalf of self-insured’s’ and underwriters. The role offers autonomy to manage your own file load insurance matters and essentially you will also enjoy sharing you knowledge, provide leadership/guidance to less experienced colleagues. 

About you...
The successful candidate will have:

• Min. 3 years previous experience in handling a broad range of general insurance claims;
• Excellent writing/negotiation and influencing skills;
• Strong attention to detail, organisational and analytical skills;
• Leadership qualities, ability to provide guidance to those less experienced;
• Work independently;
• Build strong client relationships.
