Insurance Broker Assistant – Maternity Leave Contract - Opportunity to Make a Difference

We are a leading Insurance Brokerage located in Eastwood, seeking a Retail Insurance Broker Assistant to join our team to cover a 12-month maternity leave contract.

We are looking for someone to join our team environment who is a self-motivated, enthusiastic with excellent customer service, has attention to detail and naturally demonstrates professionalism along with the ability to communicate effectively. We offer extensive training and support for this position. 

If this is you, your duties will include but not be limited to:    

• Servicing Retail Clients
• Responding to Client and Underwriter queries
• Negotiating renewals and quotations for variety of clients and policies
• Processing New Business, Renewals, Endorsements/Amendments
• Providing and following up on New Business & Renewal quotations
• Responding to client enquiries and building relationships

To be considered for this position it is preferred you have had experience within an insurance brokerage and be able to demonstrate the following:

• Hold a Tier 1 or 2 Broking or General Insurance qualification 
• Have Domestic Insurance product knowledge
• Demonstrate outstanding verbal and written communication
• The ability to prioritise work and multi-task
• A commitment to exceptional client service and quality advice
• Attention to detail and professionalism
• A friendly disposition and a commitment to being part of a team environment
• Comfortable with computer-based systems and experience using Winbeat is highly desirable

This position is full-time for a contract of 12 months, starting early to mid-July.
