About the Role

An exciting growth opportunity awaitsyou as a Senior Associate or Special Counsel in Melbourne. With a diverse andhigh-quality insurance practice, we are open to candidates who are interestedin working across both financial lines and health, or who wish to build aspecialised practice in either field. You will collaborate with a highlyregarded team of specialists led by Hubert Wajszel and Scott Shelly, Principalswho are committed to supporting your professional development and careerprogression.



In the financial lines space, youwill defend a broad range of claims brought against directors, officers,companies and professionals across the legal, financial services, constructionand property sectors. In the health practice, you will act for hospitals,clinics, medical and allied health professionals, and other healthcareproviders in a variety of claims, disciplinary matters, litigated proceedingsand coronial inquests.




About You

• you are an experienced practitioner in the defendant insurance space with a focus on professional indemnity;


• you enjoy building client relationships and achieving excellent outcomes;


• you remember what it was like being a junior practitioner and understand the importance of mentoring, and are happy to pass on your expertise and knowledge; and
