Position Description

As an Intermediate Accountant at DGL Accountants, you will have a central role in providing high-quality accounting services to our clients.

Your responsibilities will include:

• developing and maintaining client relationships.


• helping clients to produce accurate and meaningful accounting files.


• Preparing and reviewing financial statements, tax returns, and various financial reports.


• Collaborating with senior team members on complex accounting, audit, and tax matters.


• Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and tax regulations.


• Staying informed about industry developments and changes in accounting practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting / business or related field


• Experience in public practice preferred but not essential.


• CPA or CA Certification (or working towards) preferred but not essential.


• Knowledge in Australian tax laws and regulations


• Excellent investigative and problem-solving skills.


• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.


• Effective communication and interpersonal skills


• Proficiency in Accounting Software including Xero, MYOB, Intuit
