Role Overview
Joining Kelly+Partners North Sydney as an Intermediate Accountant means becoming part of a team that genuinely invests in your development. With ongoing training, direct Partner mentorship, and a collaborative working environment, you'll be trusted with meaningful work and supported to take greater ownership as your experience grows.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with Partners and team members to ensure client work is completed in a timely manner
Take lead in the preparation Financial Statements and Income Tax Returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships and SMSFs
Prepare BAS, IAS, FBT, CGT and PAYG for a variety of companies and trusts
Prepare and deliver annual workers compensation and payroll tax reconciliations
Be coached directly by an experienced Partner with an aim to manage a diverse portfolio of clients
Liaise with various statutory authorities on behalf of clients
Help provide an exceptional service to our clients
Participate in training seminars, team meetings and social events
Offer support and training to junior team members
What You Bring
2+ years' full-time experience in a Chartered Accounting Practice
CA qualified or currently undertaking CA studies
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or a related field
Familiarity with MYOB AE, APS, HowNow, Active Ledger, Xero, QuickBooks, or similar systems (or the ability to learn quickly)
Strong communication, organisational, and time-management skills
A client-first mindset and commitment to delivering quality outcomes
A genuine desire to grow and contribute within a high-performing team
