Your new role
Working as an Intermediate Accountant, you will play a key role in delivering high quality accounting and taxation services to a portfolio of clients across a range of industries.Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts and partnerships
• BAS, IAS and FBT preparation and lodgement
• Assisting with tax planning and advisory work
• Liaising directly with clients and building strong working relationships
• Supporting senior accountants and partners on complex engagements
• Maintaining up to date knowledge of tax legislation and compliance requirements

This role offers strong client exposure and an excellent opportunity to further develop your technical and advisory skills.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• 2 to 4 years experience in Australian public practice accounting
• Progress toward or commencement of CA or CPA qualification
• Strong knowledge of Australian taxation and accounting standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A proactive, team oriented attitude with a willingness to learn
