The Opportunity
Take the next big step in your career with Kelly+Partners Maitland. As an Intermediate or Senior Accountant, you will work closely with Partners, engage with a variety of clients and build the skills that will set you on a clear path to leadership.
Your Role
Collaborate with Partners and team members to ensure client work is completed in a timely manner
Work with Partners to provide tax planning and advisory services to clients
Assist with staff training, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
Preparation and review of Financial Statements and Income Tax Returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships and SMSFs
Lead and review the preparation of BAS, IAS, FBT, CGT and PAYG for a variety of companies and trusts
Liaise with various statutory authorities on behalf of clients
Participate in training seminars, team meetings and social events
Help provide exceptional service to our clients
What you bring
3+ years' experience in a Chartered Accounting Practice
Chartered Accountant qualification or in progress
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or similar
Expertise in practice management platforms like MYOB AE, APS, HowNow, Active Ledger, Xero, and QuickBooks - or a strong aptitude for learning new systems
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
