Position Responsibilities
Preparation of SMSF Financial Statements
Completion of SMSF Annual Returns
Preparation of Tax Reconciliations
Reconciliations of investment balances and investment returns
Calculation of pension liabilities
BAS & IAS Statements as required
Preparation of electronic workpapers
Preparation of audit package and liaising with external auditors
Preparation of Trustee documentation
Ensuring work completion satisfying budget and time constraints
Liaise with various statutory authorities on behalf of clients including the ATO and ASIC
Work with the Client Director and team to ensure client work is completed within the timeframe allocated
Preparation of correspondence to clients and other bodies as required
Other tasks as required
About you
2+ years' experience in a chartered accounting practice specialising in SMSF
General compliance experience (advantageous but not essential)
Excellent written and verbal communication
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Degree qualified, CA completed or near completion
Proficient with Class Super, MYOB, Xero, HowNow, Excel and Word
