Internal Sales Consultant

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Internal Sales Representative to join our clients team in Dandenong South. This role is pivotal in providing exceptional customer service and driving sales within their steel applications division. Please note, this role is open to those looking at starting in the sales field as well as seasoned sales professionals. Full extensive traiing will be provided. This position is office based with the ability to work from home 1 day per week after 6 months.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Answer incoming phone calls and respond to customer inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Prepare and deliver accurate quotations to customers via phone and email.
• Collaborate with customers on design layouts according to provided drawings.
• Recommend appropriate materials for various steel applications.
• Consult with customers to understand their specific steel requirements and recommend suitable solutions.
• Provide guidance on heat treatment processes as necessary.
• Advise customers on standards and quality requirements related to steel products.
• Manage and nurture relationships with existing customers to ensure their needs are met effectively.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in inside sales or customer service, preferably in a related industry is ideal but not necessary
• Strong understanding of steel materials and applications would be an advantage
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
