Internal Sales / Customer Service

APT Water is a dynamic pump and filtration wholesale company distributing market leading pumps and associated products to the Irrigation, Mechanical and Hydraulic Services, Mining and Residential markets. These products include world renowned water pump and filtration brands, for which we are the West Australian distributor.

An exciting career opportunity now exists for a new position as an experienced internal sales / customer service team member to handle day to day inquiries from customers in the irrigation, plumbing, mining and industrial markets.

Role

The primary responsibility of the role is to work in conjunction with the Senior Internal Sales Coordinator in customer service as well as support of the external sales team through:

• Handling of customer and supplier enquiries
• Preparation of quotations
• Answering and managing of phones, directing calls as required
• Entering of sales and purchase orders
• Administration support for the external and internal sales teams
• Maintain a high level of customer service

Candidate

Ideally the candidate should possess:

• experience in the pump industry or alternatively experience in irrigation, valves or other technical products would be considered
• excellent customer service and communication skills with an ability to resolve technical issues and ensure customer satisfaction

Qualities

Attributes and skills essential for success in the role include:

• strong written and verbal communication skills
• sound IT literacy particularly with the MS Office suite of products and ERP systems
• excellent organisation skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines
• ability to work with all staff members and company Directors in a close knit dynamic and energetic team environment

Remuneration

Remuneration is by way of an excellent package that will be commensurate with the experience and qualifications of the successful candidate.
