Internal Sales Representative - Exciting Challenge

CMI Electrical Products is a part of the IPD Group of Companies. Is a leading manufacturer and supplier of Electrical Cable and Industrial Products to the electrical industry with significant operations nationally. CMI Electrical Products distributes to Industrial, Commercial, Wholesalers, OEM and Utilities markets.

Reporting directly to the Brisbane Branch Manager, CMI Electrical Products is seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivated Internal Sales Administrator / Representative person to join our team..

Your duties would include but would not be limited to:

INTERNAL SALES

• Day to day phone sales  
• Timely and accurate preparation of quotes
• Performing quote follow up activities
• Ensuring that customers receive a high level of service throughout all interactions with the branch
• Building strong relationships with customers, colleagues, internal and external stakeholders
• Managing customer relationships and expectations
• Processing purchase orders
• Assisting with project supply activities

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Perform duties within CMI Electrical Products guidelines and procedures.
• Maintain good working relationships with other staff, acting in a cooperative and productive way within a team environment.
• Conduct activities in a safe, quality and environmentally responsible manner in accordance with CMI's QHSE policies and procedures.

THE PERSON

To be successful you will also hold the following skills and attributes:

• Previous experience in a customer service position within a wholesale or retail environment
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Excellent work ethic and a willingness to learn
• Ability to multitask
• Team player
• Intermediate computer skills
• Electrical Industry experience is welcomed but more important is you the person.
• Enthusiasm, energy, the ability and desire to learn are definite requirements to ensure your success.
