Internal salesperson

Balhannah Mitre10 is a leader in the supply of Timber and Building products throughout the Adelaide Hills, Adelaide Metro & Regional SA. Due to rapid growth in our Trade & Truss departments, we are expanding our team.

An opportunity exists for an energetic and dedicated Internal Sales and Customer Service Person to join the team at our busy Trade Counter. In this role you will provide outstanding customer service and be responsible for processing orders in an efficient, accurate and prompt manner. Experience in the timber and hardware industry is essential and a forklift licence is highly preferred.

Knowledge of residential building materials is highly desirable although applicants with only retail hardware experience will also be considered if they can demonstrate a track record of excellence in:

• Having a passion for delivering a great customer service experience
• Having a professional, patient, and friendly phone manner.
• Having the ability to maintain and grow strong Trade customer relationships.
• Having strong attention to detail and accuracy in recording and dispatching customer orders.
• Be willing to engage with customers to find sales opportunities and ways to add value to their businesses. We’re looking for someone who can maximise our sales and our value to our customers – not just an ‘order-taker’.
• Be willing to tackle a variety of jobs on a daily basis including: manual handling of building products, unloading and loading of trucks.

Work hours are Monday-Friday, 7am – 3:30pm. We are located in Balhannah, in the Adelaide Hills. You are required to be at your work station and being productive by 7am each morning. Please consider this prior to applying.
