Inventory Controller - Urgent Role

Icehouse Logistics is a successful 3PL company providing integrated supply chain solutions for some of the world’s most successful brands. 

Reporting to our Operations Manager, the Inventory Controller’s primary role is to manage all incoming stock deliveries into our Eastern Creek warehouse daily. 

Key Responsibilities

• The efficient planning and coordination of activities to ensure accurate results in all aspects picking/shipping and related operations.
• Working knowledge of AQIS regulations and the protocols of biosecurity and import/export inspections
• Ensure accuracy and compliance or all orders. 
• Oversee daily monitoring efforts to ensure productivity objectives meet company/departmental standards.
• Confirm daily loading, picking deadlines and priority cut-off times are met.
• Monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPI) to track progress, and to work on ideas/improvements to reduce recurring problems.
• Oversee training of company processes are understood and followed.
• Maintain customer service standards to minimise mis-shipments, backorders and locating missing product.
• Plan, manage and maximise all inventory functions.
• Coordinate cleaning schedules, eliminate damages and spills.

To be successful in this role you must demonstrate the following skills and aptitudes:

• Relative comparable experience including with AQIS requirements
• Computer literate
• Excellent knowledge of Sydney metropolitan area
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and Written
• Results orientated
• Customer focused
