Investment Operations Analyst

Our client is a leading Fund Manager which are currently looking to hire an Investment Operations Analyst.

In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient and effective settlement of investment and fund payment instructions between the organisation and the administrator.

As an Investment Operations Analyst, you will actively coordinate with members of the Investment Team, Risk Team, Finance, Capital, Operations, and other groups within the broader firm to ensure seamless operations.
  
Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a key contact for external service providers, coordinating effectively to support investment operations;
• Manage and instruct the setup of initial loan accounts, establishment of new funds, and processing of drawdowns and payments;
• Partner to the Investment Team;
• Oversee the KYC process between borrowers and service providers to ensure compliance and efficiency;
• Provide processing and administrative support for ad-hoc investment team requests, ensuring prompt and accurate execution;
• Coordinate and manage the documentation flow between various stakeholders, including the execution process using wet-ink or DocuSign;
• Administer loan portfolios on behalf of clients, handling interest processing, drawdowns, and repayments on loan facilities;
• Review initial loan statements for accuracy and address any discrepancies;
• Respond to or coordinate responses to inbound loan account and statement inquiries from clients, borrowers, and lenders; AND
• Provide additional operational support as required by the Head of Operations and Risk.

  
Skills & Experience:

You will have at least 3 years' experience working within financial markets, ideally within funds management operations or loan settlement.

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, commerce, or a similar field of study;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• Team player with strong collaborative skills;
• Strong numerical and analytical skills;
• Proficiency in MS Office;
• Ability to take accountability; AND
• Strong attention to detail.
