IS Service Desk Support | Sydney CBD | $47 P/H

Background: This role is responsible for providing ICT support to various offices, count centres, call centres, and head office staff for local elections. This includes ICT hardware technical support for printers, desktops, laptops, monitors, tablets, smartphones, desk phones, accessories, and audio-visual/conferencing equipment.
Purpose: Provide IS Service Desk support - Level 1/2
Key Responsibilities: - Support end user device hardware such as printers, desktops, laptops, monitors, tablets, smartphones, desk phones, accessories, and audio-visual equipment.
- Use a ticketing system to log all requests and issues and respond to Service Desk queries in a timely manner.
- Provide first and second level Windows software support and troubleshooting.
- Manage hardware and software escalations with vendors.
- Provide first level support of network and telephony environments.
- Perform end user device and venue ICT setup, configuration, and support during elections.
- Deploy and test software.
- Create and update user and technical guides for our Service Desk knowledgebase.
- Maintain asset databases ensuring they are always up to date.
Skills and Experience: - Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Good time management skills.
- Experience within the IT industry.
- Good understanding of Windows 10, MS Office, and other common applications such as Adobe Reader.
- Experience installing and configuring computer and network equipment.
Essential Requirements: - Politically neutral with no affiliation to political parties or lobbyists/campaigners.
- Satisfactory Criminal Record check result.
Location: The role is based on site at 231 Elizabeth Street, Sydney, and may require travel to our other metro locations.
Working Hours:During election events, you may be required to work rostered hours, after hours, and weekends to support business operations. This role is not suitable for WFH and will require you to be onsite.
