About the role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and self-motivated Full Stack Developer who can work autonomously and take full ownership of their tasks. The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of both front-end and back-end technologies, a passion for coding, and the ability to manage projects from inception to completion with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Development and Maintenance:
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
  • Implement responsive designs and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
  • Develop back-end components to improve responsiveness and overall performance.
• Project Ownership:
  • Collaborate with the PMO to confirm requirements and ensure project alignment.
  • Take full ownership of projects through to deployment and post-deployment maintenance.
  • Ensure timely delivery of projects and features.
• Autonomous Work:
  • Manage your own workflow and deadlines.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues independently.
  • Continuously improve and optimise the existing codebase.
• Collaboration:
  • Work closely with other developers, designers, and product managers to deliver high-quality products.
  • Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge.
  • Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on best practices.
• Innovation and Improvement:
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
  • Propose and implement improvements to processes and technologies.
  • Experiment with new tools and techniques to improve development efficiency.

Your skills and experience:

• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Strong back-end development skills with languages such as Node.js and PHP
  • Experience with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar.
  • Knowledge of version control systems, preferably Git and BitBucket.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools like CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience:
  • 3+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing projects independently.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions.
• Soft Skills:
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Self-starter with a proactive approach to work.
