ROLE SNAPSHOT

Consulting-style role to deliver Technology Assurance engagements (cyber, cloud, data governance, privacy, ITGC, IT internal audit etc) across various enterprise clients.

You will be in a client-facing role, assisting to scope, plan and coordinate the execution of internal IT audit reviews for a diverse range of enterprise clients.

Key responsibilities include:

• Identify & evaluate complex technology risks and design robust approaches and testing procedures.
• Lead and contribute towards end-to-end technology assurance internal audit reviews across a broad range of areas - cyber, cloud, data governance, privacy, ITGC, IT internal audit etc.
• Make recommendation for more effective and efficient technology controls.
• Involvement in running stakeholder meetings/workshops.
• Preparation of internal audit reports based on findings.
• Mentor and train junior consultants.

A SUITABLE CANDIDATE?

Suitable for a motivated and driven IT Internal Audit & IT Risk Assurance professional who is keen to grow their consulting career in a supportive and non-political environment with merit-based promotions.

The following knowledge / skills / experience is required:

• Proven IT Internal Audit & IT Risk Assurance experience.
• Knowledge of IT internal audit processes and methodologies - including flow charts, risk & control matrix, risk assessments, process mapping etc.
• Relevant tertiary education and certifications (e.g. CISA, CISSP, QSA etc)
• Knowledge across at least 2 of the following:
• IT Internal Audit and Risk Assurance
• IT Project Assurance
• IT Governance
• IT Risk and Controls (ITGC, SOX etc)
• Information Security
• Policy & standards e.g. ISO 27000, PCI-DSS

• Soft skills are key:
• Communication skills - clear and impactful communication skills (both verbal and written).
• Professionalism - presentation, interactions, and conduct.
• Eagerness - willingness to take on additional responsibilities.
• Accountability - values taking ownership of tasks and delivering excellence.

This is a full time permanent full located in the Sydney CBD and is offering circa $100,000 - $124,000 +super (including base salary and bonus) - depending on experience.
