SCBC is looking for a talented IT Network and Security Administrator to join our dynamic Information Systems and Technology (IST) Team. In this role, you’ll work with cutting-edge technology, lead cybersecurity initiatives, and play a pivotal part in shaping the College’s IT infrastructure. Full Position Description: IT Network and Security Administrator

Position Requirements:

• Administer, maintain, and secure the College’s IT systems, including networks, servers, endpoints, firewalls, and identity platforms.


• Monitor, respond, and remediate cybersecurity incidents, ensuring compliance and adherence to best practice.


• Support day-to-day operations across IT infrastructure, cloud services, and telephony systems.


• Lead improvements in IT security, business continuity, and endpoint management.


• Collaborate with the IST Team and provide technical guidance to staff and students.

Selection Criteria:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology or related field.


• Minimum 4+ years’ experience in a network, systems, or security administration role.


• Strong knowledge of networks, Windows/Linux servers, Microsoft 365, Intune, virtualisation, scripting, and cybersecurity principles.


• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.


• Strong communication skills with a service-oriented approach.


• Capacity to learn, adapt, and manage multiple projects and priorities.

Desirable:

• Vendor certifications (Microsoft, Fortinet, HPE Aruba).


• IT Service Management qualifications such as ITIL.


• Experience working in an education or multi-site environment.

• Commitment to maintaining a child-safe environment in line with the College’s values and policies.
