IT Project Manager (ERP & DW)

This is a newly created role for a Project Manager to join a growing SME undergoing a significant technology transformation.

They are investing in modern platforms, improved business intelligence capabilities, and stronger project delivery practices to enhance operational efficiency and decision-making across the organisation.

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead several high-profile initiatives while helping establish scalable project management standards and governance across the business.

Your initial focus will be leading three key transformation programs:

• Implementation of a new enterprise Data Warehouse and reporting platform
• Selection and implementation of a new ERP solution
• Enhancement of internal project management frameworks, governance, methodologies, and best practices

You will play a critical role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned to business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of multiple technology projects and programs
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, risk registers, and status reporting
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including technology, vendor resources, operations, finance, and executive stakeholders
• Manage project scope, dependencies, issues, risks, and change requests
• Ensure projects achieve defined business outcomes and benefits
• Oversee solution design, testing, data migration, training, and go-live activities
• Drive adoption and change management initiatives across the organisation
• Rolling out Project Management best practice; develop project management standards, templates, reporting, and documentation
• Build and maintain strong relationships with external technology partners and implementation vendors
• Manage vendor performance against contractual commitments, milestones, budgets, and SLAs
• Provide clear and concise reporting to senior leadership and executive stakeholders

Essential Experience

• 5+ years' experience delivering IT and business transformation projects
• Proven experience implementing enterprise platforms such as ERP, CRM, Data Warehouse, or Business Intelligence solutions
• Strong project planning, governance, budgeting, and risk management skills.
• Demonstrated experience managing third-party vendors and system integrators.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
• Experience within an SME or mid-sized organisation
• Formal project management certification (PRINCE2, PMP, Agile, Scrum, or equivalent)
• Experience establishing or improving PM capabilities and delivery frameworks

This role will start as a 24 month fixed term contract and be 3 days in office.
