Based in southern east suburbs. we are seeking a motivated IT Support Technician to join our dynamic team

Role Summary 
As an IT Support Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing level 1 and level 2 ICT support across our business. You will respond to support calls via email, telephone, or onsite visits, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues. Your responsibilities will include installing, configuring, and maintaining computer systems and networks, diagnosing hardware and software issues, performing system upgrades, and delivering technical support to end-users.

In addition to providing day-to-day support, you will assist with managing small to mid-size IT projects, ensuring effective change management, incident management, risk management, and continuity planning. Knowledge of ITIL framework is preferred.

Your role will also involve administering and ensuring IT security and compliance in line with company standards and ICT policy. A flexible approach to travel is required to support the region as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide level 1 and level 2 ICT support across the business
• Respond to support calls by email, telephone, or onsite visits
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and networks
• Diagnose hardware and software issues
• Perform system upgrades
• Provide technical support to end-users
• Deploy Operating System Images
• Assist with managing small to mid-size IT projects
• Ensure effective change management, incident management, risk management, and continuity planning
• Administer and ensure IT security and compliance
• Flexibility to travel as required
  
  Preferred Candidate experience: 
• Educational Qualification from IT, IT support & any other qualification
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role is preferred 
• Certification in IT is preferred but not mandatory
