IT Support Specialist | Permanent Position Your new company You'll be joining a globally established organisation with a strong international IT function. While part of a large global network, the local operation is lean, requiring a hands-on IT professional who can confidently support the business day to day while partnering closely with global teams for direction, standards, and escalations. Your new role This is a standalone IT Support Specialist role responsible for providing end-user support across the local business. You'll be the primary on-site IT contact, managing incidents, requests, and device support across laptops, mobile devices, peripherals, and collaboration tools.You will work closely with global IT teams, following established processes while representing local needs and priorities. The role requires strong ownership, independence, and the ability to manage competing demands without close day-to-day supervision. In addition to BAU support, you'll contribute to global initiatives, rollouts, and improvements, acting as the local IT conduit to the wider organisation. What you'll need to succeed
Proven experience working as a standalone support engineer or within a small IT team supporting a local office while reporting into a global IT function
Strong end-user support experience across Windows environments, including Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and common collaboration tools (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive)
Experience supporting macOS and mobile devices (iOS), including device provisioning and basic troubleshooting
Hands-on experience using an ITSM or ticketing system to manage incidents, requests, and escalations; ServiceNow experience is highly desirable
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across hardware, software, and user-related issues
Confidence working autonomously, setting priorities, and engaging with stakeholders at all levels
Experience collaborating with offshore or international IT teams and following global processes and standards
