Job Description - IT Systems & Operations Administrator

We are looking for an experienced IT Systems and Operations Administrator to join our dynamic Operations Team.

As a IT Systems and Operations Administrator you are responsible for handling IT related service requests as well as maintaining our Cloud, SaaS and internal IT infrastructure.   

You will also be involved in assisting with internal projects, client projects and IT related escalations as required. This relates to all technology which includes; SaaS applications, workstations, servers, printers, networks, and vendor specific hardware and software. 

You have the following key areas of responsibility:  

  • IT Projects & Administration 
  • Internal IT Support 
  • IT Maintenance 
  • IT Knowledgebase 

Responsibilities would also include:

  • Assist the CTO in a technical capacity with various internal IT and SaaS related projects. 
  • Operational administration of our PSA System 
  • Operational administration of Gurulytics 
  • Liaise with 3rd party vendors on projects and ongoing admin support
  • Provide assistance and IT support for end users (remote, onsite, email, phone etc). 
  • Provide assistance and IT support relating to issues with our systems and network infrastructure.
  • Provide assistance and IT support for core Microsoft & Google related technologies. 
  • Provide assistance and IT support for cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Office 365, Google etc) 
  • Provide assistance and IT support for business line applications. 
  • Support backup and disaster recovery solutions. 
  • Provide assistance and IT support at the network level (WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, security, etc). 
  • Communication with staff and management as required. Keeping them informed of incident progress, notifying them of impending changes or agreed outages. 
  • Monitor and support all AWS, Azure, & Google environments. 
  • Schedule security and system updates/patches. 
  • Manage the monitoring and management system to ensure consistency and accurate reporting of network devices. 
  • Identify areas for improvement and make constructive suggestions for change. 
  • Continually seek opportunities to increase satisfaction and IT stability. 
  • Ensure SLAs are adhered to with our vendors and their response times to fix IT related issues.
  • Maintain all IT documentation (procedural and technical) 
  • Ensure all passwords are up-to-date and managed in the internal password database. 
  • Update the IT Knowledgebase as new information is determined as part of a service ticket, SOW or Project. 
  • Document internal processes and procedures related to duties and responsibilities. 
  • System documentation and consulting services to include system reviews and recommendations. 
  • Ensure if the SLA requirements change with our partner/vendors, that management is notified to ensure the correct adjustments are made and all relevant internal staff are notified. 
  • Previous experience working in an IT Support Function T Support to Staff both internal and remote 
  • Experience in IT Administration of AWS, SaaS Platforms, Google & Office 365 
  • Strong network Administration of AWS and internal office support experience
  • Administration of our internal apps and products 
  • Strong in PC and Mac IT Support 
  • Windows / Linux Server Administrator 
  • Google Workspaces & Office 365 Administration 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computing, IT or equivalent   
  • MSCA
