About SH Jewellery & The Role
SH Jewellery is one of Australia’s most trusted and best-reviewed independent jewellers, with 5,500+ five-star Google reviews and over 20,000 couples served.
We specialise in premium 18kt gold and platinum diamond jewellery, along with luxury watches, and are entering our next phase of growth and brand expansion.
As part of this, we are building a strong content and digital presence to drive traffic, awareness, and sales — and this role will play a key part in that journey.
This is a hybrid role consisting of jewellery sales and social media content creation.
You will be a confident and capable salesperson who also helps bring the brand to life through content — creating videos, showcasing products, and educating customers online.

Your Role

• Deliver a luxury, consultative sales experience in the showroom and online
• Handle online enquiries (DMs, website leads, email enquiries) and assist with conversion
• Confidently appear on camera to present, educate, and showcase jewelry
• Shoot and edit photos and videos (in-store, product, people, behind-the-scenes, customer stories)
• Create photo and video content across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube
• Write compelling hooks, captions, and post copy aligned with brand voice
• Grow a large, engaged follower base over time
• Work closely with founders, marketing, and the sales team on content ideas and execution
• Stay ahead of platform trends, formats, and algorithm changes
• Stay up to date with jewellery knowledge, trends, and customer behaviour

What We’re Looking For

• Sales Experience: 2–5+ years in sales or premium retail (jewellery highly regarded)
• Confidence & Presence: Strong communicator, comfortable speaking with clients and on camera
• Jewellery Knowledge: Understanding of diamonds and fine jewellery (or ability to learn quickly)
• Commercial Mindset: Understands how to turn attention, conversations, and enquiries into sales
• Comfortable being hands-on: filming, editing, posting, iterating
• Content Interest: Genuine interest in content creation, social media, and digital platforms
• On-Camera Confidence: Comfortable presenting, educating, and representing the brand
• Strong Visual Eye & Storytelling: Able to identify engaging content angles and ideas
• Tech-Savvy: Confident using smartphones, social platforms, and content tools
• Strong Work Ethic & Ownership: Proactive, reliable, and takes responsibility for results
• Problem Solver: Thinks on their feet and handles situations with maturity
• Bonus: Experience in jewellery, luxury retail, or content creation
