Join the club—where great company is always welcome!



Spend a gentle, unhurried hour with a warm and friendly elderly lady who enjoys visiting her local club and being around familiar faces. It’s something she looks forward to, and having a companion by her side makes it all the more special.







Your time together might include a quiet outing to the club, sharing a drink, or simply sitting together and chatting about life, memories, and everyday moments 







These visits are all about kindness, companionship, and bringing a little extra joy and connection into her week. If you enjoy meaningful conversations and a calm, social setting, this could be a truly rewarding experience. 























Your impact

Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.






 

HammondCare 

HammondCare is an independent Christian charity and we're passionate about improving the quality of life for people in need. We have a wonderful group of volunteers that partner with us to enhance the lives of people cared for by HammondCare. 

HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.

Requirements



18 years or older • National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare •







We'd be happy to discuss a suitable time during the week for a one hour visit between 9am and 5pm Monday to Sunday, visits could be weekly to fortnightly depending on your availability.
