The Opportunity
We are seeking a Junior Accountant to join our growing team in Dungog. This role is also open to an experienced Bookkeeper who is looking to take the next step in their career. You will play a key role in enabling Kelly+Partners' next phase of growth and become an integral part of a collaborative, high-performing team.
Position Responsibilities
Collaborate with Partners and team members to ensure client work is completed in a timely manner
Assist in the preparation Financial Statements and Income Tax Returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships and SMSFs
Prepare BAS, IAS, FBT, CGT and PAYG for a variety of entities, including companies and trusts
Be coached directly by an experienced Partner with an aim to manage a diverse portfolio of clients
Help your team provide exceptional service to our clients
Liaise with various statutory authorities on behalf of clients.
Participate in training seminars, team meetings and social events
About You
Minimum of 1-2+ years' experience in a similar role
Possess a bachelor's degree in accounting or Certificate IV in bookkeeping/accounting
Proven working experience with accounting software, specifically; APS, MYOB, Xero and Quickbooks
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Committed to providing exceptional service to our clients
