Junior Reception

Finlay Plumbing is a proudly owned family business seeking an entry level Receptionist to join our team. We would love to offer this position to a junior in our local community (would suit a recent school leaver).

• Family-owned South Australian plumbing business
• Office based in Seaford South Australia
• Permanent full-time position

As first point of contact in our office you will need great customer service skills, be confident in greeting customers, answering phones, taking detailed messages, and responding to emails in a professional manner. The ideal candidate will have excellent computer skills and a good work ethic.

Responsibilities include:

• Front desk duties, including welcoming customers upon arrival, answering the phone and managing enquiries
• Scan, file and digitally organise documents daily
• Clerical Duties 
• Assist other staff with administrative tasks as needed
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace 

 About you:

• A customer-focused attitude with a friendly, positive approach.
• A proactive approach, capable of using initiative and working autonomously as well as in a team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers, trades and suppliers.
• Excellent computer skills: MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Excellent Customer Service skills
• Good administration and organisational skills with the ability to effectively prioritise tasks.

The Position:

• Permanent full-time 5 days / week Monday to Friday office hours
• Based in Seaford
• On the job training provided
• Work closely with an administration team

Finlay Plumbing Services is a family-owned South Australian business that has been operating for over 43 years. We work predominantly on new homes, medium density light weight construction and carry out some commercial work also. Operating across the metropolitan area and the Adelaide Hills, with an office based in Seaford, we are looking for a Junior Receptionist to join our team.
