The Opportunity
As a Junior or Intermediate Accountant, you'll play a key role in the ongoing growth of our Wollongong practice. You'll work closely with experienced Partners and senior team members who genuinely invest in your development.
Position Responsibilities
Collaborate with Partners and team members to ensure client work is completed in a timely manner
Take lead in the preparation Financial Statements and Income Tax Returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships and SMSFs
Prepare BAS, IAS, FBT, CGT and PAYG for a variety of companies and trusts
Prepare and deliver annual workers compensation and payroll tax reconciliations
Be coached directly by an experienced Partner with an aim to manage a diverse portfolio of clients
Liaise with various statutory authorities on behalf of clients
Help provide an exceptional service to our clients
Participate in training seminars, team meetings and social events
Offer support and training to team members
About You
1-3 years' experience in a Chartered Accounting Practice
Chartered Accountant qualification or in progress
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or similar
Experience using accounting software, including MYOB AE, HowNow, Active Ledger, APS, Xero and Quickbooks
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
