Job Description - Karratha - Housekeeping Supervisor - Full-time

About the Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our Operations team at our Karratha Village located in Pilbara Region of Western Australia.

Full-time, permanent positions available.

This position is a hands-on role within the team and is responsible for managing the housekeeping department, including rostering, organising and supervising the work, conducting daily room audits, and general administration, whilst maintaining strong working relationships with other departments and guests.

About You

To be successful, you will have:

  • Demonstrated relevant work experience in a management or supervisory level, preferably in the commercial hospitality industry
  • Proven practical housekeeping experience (essential) 
  • Experience in high volume, fast paced work environments
  • Competence to train / assist in staff training
  • Capability to work well under pressure
  • The ability to pass a pre-employment medical including alcohol and drug screening
  • A National Police Clearance or be willing to obtain
  • Documentation to prove working rights within Australia
  • Good computer and administrative skills 
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Exceptional time management skills
  • Experience with accommodation software packages (preferably RMS9) (desirable)
  • Demonstrated experience working successfully in a team
  • A good eye for detail
  • Remote work experience (highly regarded)
  • Current Driver’s Licence (highly regarded)

Application/On-boarding Process

  • Shortlisted candidates will be invited to complete a 5-10 minute video introduction via MyInterview 
  • Follow-up phone discussion with Recruitment Team for applications completed
  • Complete Civeo paperwork and provide relevant pre-employment documents, including a National Police Check Certificate less than 6 months old 
  • Complete Pre-Employment Medical Assessment, including Drug and Alcohol Testing
  • Accept verbal offer by Civeo Recruitment, contract issued
  • Attend Red Carpet Induction and Get Started
