This role involves managing a portfolio of major national accounts for Opal Packaging Plus, with a primary emphasis on developing and sustaining strategic relationships to drive long-term revenue and profitability growth.

Key functions within the nominated account portfolio are:

• Establishing unmatched insights into the customer's business
• Building strong business relationships across multiple levels and functions with the customers
• Establish high level strategic goals
• Initiate value + principles to systematically grow both revenue and profitability
• Develop a value-formal, structured review process with the customer to ensure performance is measured and reported and to formally agree improvement priorities to develop the partnership
• Proactively secure contracted business ahead of competitive tenders, and/or should parcels go to market, lead and manage the process of securing ongoing tenure at acceptable business terms
• Contract management to ensure best value for OPP

Specifically for this role, we expect you will have;

• Sales and/or marketing and supply chain experience
• Experience in managing Customer Relationships
• Previous experience in the Australian and/or Global packaging or distribution industries is desirable
• Experience in negotiating contracts
• Executive-level credibility
• Commercial Acumen
• Strong interpersonal relationship skills
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics
