We are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced Key Account Manager with the ability to maintain, influence and grow the existing database that is already growing exponentially. This global company provides funding solutions for small businesses nationally. This autonomous role will be responsible for renewals of existing clients and will suit an up and coming sales professional with a great attitude.
About the role:
As a Key Account Manager and trusted advisor your role will be responsible for managing our key accounts with small to medium business owners. It is primarily phone-based sales and you will be required to build, maintain and strengthen relationships. You will be part of a very successful and fast paced team of Key Account Managers managing the full B2B customer sales-cycle. This is a hybrid role.
Key Responsibilities:
Build effective and long-lasting relationships with customers, ensuring expectations are exceeded and to ensure repeat business.
Show customers you have an understanding of their needs and requirements with a can do attitude for all tasks.
Achieve KPI’s – daily, monthly and yearly (daily call targets, submissions, funded deals etc.).
Relentless ability to negotiate with internal and external stakeholders.
Effectively handle all forms of objections to ensure maximum conversion rates.
Ensuring CRM system and pipeline reports are up to date.
Provide Management with weekly and monthly sales pipeline updates.
Conduct high-level business conversations with small & medium business owners.
The successful candidate will have:
A strong work ethic and team playing mentality.
Excellent time management skills and able to multi task.
The ability to work at a fast pace but still have strong attention to detail.
Self-motivated with the desire to succeed and exceed monthly targets and KPI’s.
Computer literate and fast learner.
Be flexible with hours and have a strong appetite for change.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities.
Experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce) preferred, but not essential.
Ability to work under pressure and motivated to achieve set target levels as directed.
Financial services or banking experience is desirable, but not essential.
