Job Description - Key Account Manager- NSW


Summary

Promat is part of the broader Etex Group of companies and is the global premium brand for passive fire protection. We offer a complete portfolio of certified and tested products and systems to design and build a fully reliable fire safety solution for your building project. With more than 60 years of experience and know-how, we are ready to help you protect people, buildings and assets.

What you'll do


  • Ensure the name Promat becomes synonymous with the words “fire protection” and becomes the ‘natural’ choice for specifiers and contractors when fire protection is required

  • Follow up project leads through successful builders and sub-contractors to ensure our products and services are the preferred choice

  • Visit building sites on a regular scheduled basis to maintain contact with contractors and builders to ensure our services and products are visible and installed correctly with a focus on fire stopping, fire collars and passive contactors

  • Search out new potential contractors and customers and develop ongoing relationships

  • Present and provide information on our premium products and service

  • Build and manage a pipeline of projects/opportunities and secure product specifications

  • Track and manage all client activity and projects in our CRM

What you'll bring


  • Genuine "people person" with a commitment to providing first-class customer service and developing relationships

  • 2+ years experience in a sales role; ideally within the building construction / hardware or plumbing supply industry

  • Ability to manage and grow key customers and identify and attract new business

  • High level of resilience with a strong work ethic and high energy levels.

  • As the face of our brand, you must be well presented and take pride in your personal presentation

  • Strong time management, administration, and organisational skills

  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills
